Nothing is totally sustainable, but we make a continuous effort to get
better. At LAURIE we will never compromise on quality, comfort, or Earth. It’s
our responsibility to make sure that your clothes are manufactured in a fair
and responsible manner.

Since 1987, we have based our work on the mantra: ”It’s got to feel right.” For
us, that means that our clothes must be comfortable to wear while they are
manufactured on the basis of a responsible mindset. It's got to feel right all
the way – from design to finished product.

With more than 30 years in the fashion industry, we still try to develop
and improve; especially in our approach to products, suppliers, customers,
colleagues, and finally, the outside world and environment. The mantra ”It’s
got to feel right” matters in every aspect of our business. It feels right for
us, and it must for you too.

TIMELESS AND CONSIDERATE DESIGN

We design two collections a year with lots of timeless styles, made to be loved, cared for, and worn season after season. Even when creating the best versions of all classic wardrobe basics, we still have the current trends in mind.

All products are crafted with a crucial focus on comfort and fit because we believe that durable products deserve considerate designs. Responsible production and respect for the materials we use are a natural part of our
design philosophy. LAURIE is for style-conscious women of all ages who value unique quality and exquisite comfort.

NO HARMFUL CHEMICALS

LAURIE creates high-quality garments which are sustainable in terms of
design, materials, and production. In traditionally crafted garments, you often
find residues of chemicals which are gradually released when wearing the garments.
The person who wears them is thus exposed to the harmful chemicals. As the
first women’s brand in Denmark, we were certified according to STANDARD 100 by
OEKO-TEX® in 2016. This is your guarantee that OEKO-TEX® certified items from LAURIE
are skin and environmentally friendly. You can be certain that even the zip in
your new OEKO-TEX® certified LAURIE jeans does not contain any harmful chemicals.

Besides manufacturing durable high-quality clothes, we also support good
causes and charities. We have joined the UN Global Compact, an initiative that
promotes human and work rights, environment, and anti-corruption. Moreover, we
have a close cooperation with the Business Social Compliance Initiative (amfori
BSCI) where we endeavour to improve human and work rights in our own garment
production.
